Gingerbread Recipes (Pet friendly)

We have tried these recipes out, and they all turned out decent and some of our pup’s favorite.
Recipe by Gone to the Snow Dogs
3 Cups of Whole Wheat Flour
1 tsp cinnamon
1/2 tsp ginger
1/2 cup coconut oil
1/2 cup molasses
3/4 cup water
For “Icing/cookie glue” You will need White Chocolate discs (contain no cocoa), or Yogurt Chips, or Cream Cheese.
Preheat your oven to 325 degrees Fahrenheit.
In a large bowl mix together flour, cinnamon, and ground ginger.
Mix all that together, then add your coconut oil, water, and molasses.
Stir util you create a nice, not sticky, dough.
Now roll out your dough into 1/4 inch thick pieces.

(Note: Do not give dogs human gingerbread as it contains nutmeg which is toxic to dogs)
INGREDIENTS:
2 cups whole wheat flour a 2 tbsp ground ginger
1 tsp cinnamon
1/2 tsp ground cloves
1 cup Stella & Chewy's Magical Dinner Dust
1/2 cup molasses
1/2 cup water
1/4 cup canola oil
COOKING INSTRUCTIONS:
Preheat oven to 325F
In a large bowl, mix together flour, cinnamon, ginger, cloves and Magical Dinner Dust until combined
In a smaller bowl, stir together molasses, water and canola oil
Pour molasses mixture into flour and stir thoroughly
Roll out the dough to ¼ inch thick and cut out your shapes
Lightly spray a baking sheet with non-stick cooking spray and place your shapes on the baking sheet
Bake for 20 minutes
ICING RECIPE:
1/2 cup tapioca starch
1/2 cup plain greek yogurt
Mix together and put in a piping bag
Pipe icing on gingerbread and decorate with treats, jerky and patties

6 cups of unbleached flour
6 tbs baking powder
1 tsp cinnamon
¼ tsp salt
¼ cup butter
1 egg
1 egg yolk
1 cup blackstrap molasses
1 cup water (can be from doggie bowl)
¼ cup lemon juice (optional)
Baking:
In a saucepan, heat the butter and molasses to a boil. Let it cool to room temperature and transfer to a mixer.
Preheat oven to 325 degrees.
Stir flour, baking powder, cinnamon and salt in large bowl.
Add two cups of flour to the molasses mixture and mix.
Add egg, egg yolk and remaining flour into the mixture and mix.
Add one cup of water and mix until dough ball forms. The dough should be sticky. Add water in small amounts (¼ cup-cup) if needed.
Roll out dough to ¼’’ thick and cut out the walls, roof and door for your dog house.
Bake in a non-stick tray at 325 degrees for 35-40 minutes.
Dog friendly the icing:
8 ounces of low-fat cream cheese
4 ounces of natural peanut butter (creamy peanut butter is a great addition to your dog’s favorite treats!)
