They buried her in the dress they picked out together. He still brings two juice boxes to the swings. Only one bike leans against the tree now. She kept the friendship bracelet - his broke. He still draws her in every class photo. They said “best friends forever.” One meant it. Her room stayed pink. He grew up alone. He talks to her stone like she’s still listening.
She died at eight.
He never really lived again.

Majority of us never got closure, just vanished footprints in the dust. We mourn and ache for one more last goodbye.

Lila is a gentle and shy but curious spirit. Calm and quiet by nature, she’s happiest when curled up for a long nap in her favorite cozy spot. Though reserved, she had a soft spot for treats—especially the chicken tenders dog treats from Trader Joe’s, which always brought a little sparkle to her eyes. Sweet and sleepy, Lila was a peaceful presence, content to simply be near the people she loved. She is rescue dog from a Korean Organization (based in Korea). Unfortunately passed away.
