Flynn’s POV
Not being interested in sports, yet an athlete named Gus is head-over-heels for Flynn. Feeling that Gus is completely out of his league, Flynn does his best to avoid him throughout the school year. However, a series of events brings the two, while learning about relationships and strengthening friendships…that could be mistaken for more than buddies. As study sessions turn into raw, honest confessions, the walls between their social circles begin to crumble, and the fear of being outed by others.
 
Gus’ POV
As they enter their senior year, the couple faces rocky challenges as outside influences threaten their relationship. The two must set aside their pride and learn to understand and communicate, as in all relationships, which is the key to success. They try to keep their relationship a secret as much as possible; however, it becomes too obvious, to the point of them publicly announcing their love. The two learn what it is to have a healthy partnership and what is to come in the future, after high school. Will the two separate after all the drama, or stay together? What does fate have in store for them?
