Secret Congee

🎅🏻Foodmas day 16! WOW time is flying😭 I can’t believe I haven’t posted here about Secret Congee yet because I go there a decent amount over the years😍

Some warm congee on a cold day is just so so good. My dad used to make the best congee for me when I got sick so I’m glad there’s a congee place on par with what he makes.

What I’ve gotten:

🎄Shrimp tom yum congee (fav)

🎄Beef and kimchi congee + century egg

🎄Classic chicken congee + century egg

🎄Rabbit congee

🎄Chinese fried dough (def recommend dipping it into the congee)

They used to have a braised pork belly congee but it’s not on the menu no more :( They’ve moved locations throughout the years I’ve gone. They’re in Ballard now kinda close to golden gardens so if you’re in the area try them out!

(Just a P.S. it is a little on the pricier side but well worth it because the consistency is so good and we love how many options they have)
